Norfork Brewing Company

Norfork Brewing Company is a small-batch brewery in Norfork, in the Arkansas Ozarks, that specializes in big, complex, high-ABV beers. The brewers argue that much of the craft industry chases trends and cuts costs, and they position their own work as a return to traditional craft. Each batch is brewed from regeneratively grown grain and pure spring water from the Ozarks, using time-honored methods that call for patience and skill, and the brewery calls the result “Nature’s Beer.” Sustainability is central to how it operates: Norfork partners with farmers who rebuild soil health, focuses on water conservation and waste reduction, and looks for ways to reuse brewing byproducts. The taproom is meant as a community gathering place, with live music and local events, and its kitchen serves fresh wood-fired pizzas meant to pair with the beer. The brewery also has an online shop.
