About
Columbus House Brewery is a Fayetteville brewery located just off the city’s bike trail. Its permanent taps have included Yellow Card, a filtered golden ale with a delicate Saaz and Tettnanger hop character; Nutty Runner, a traditional nut brown ale that the brewers count among their own favorites; Weekend Warrior IPA, hopped continuously through the boil with Warrior and Columbus hops; Spottie Ottie, a bold 7.2% oatmeal stout with coffee and chocolate notes; and a Centennial and Warrior pale ale. Regnat Populus, “the people’s sour ale,” is named for Fayetteville’s motto, meaning “the people rule,” and guests are sometimes asked to vote on which fruit puree it gets. The brewery keeps an archive of past beers online. It also has ties to the local active community, with a running club and a connection to the Fayetteville Wheelmen cycling club.
