Social Project Brewing Co.

Social Project Brewing Company is a Bentonville brewery founded by Chris and Courtney Spence, who met at the University of Arkansas and made craft beer a shared pastime, planning trips and building friendships around it. After moving to Nashville in 2015 and falling for the beer scene there, they decided in 2016 to open a brewery of their own back home, and they returned to Northwest Arkansas to open Social Project in 2021. Strong local support led to a second taproom within a year. The brewery’s mission centers on bringing people together over beer and conversation to build community, friendship and understanding. It brews with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients on American-made equipment, aiming for inventive beers that push against traditional styles. As a socially minded business, Social Project gives back to local nonprofits and emphasizes inclusivity and support for other local businesses.
