Orthodox Farmhouse Brewery
About
Orthodox Farmhouse Brewery is an American farmhouse brewery in the Arkansas Ozarks near Elkins, owned by Jesse and Ashlyn Gagnon. The couple started it to pair Jesse’s brewing background and enthusiasm with their love of the Ozarks and an agrarian way of life. The brewery follows an agrarian, small-batch brewing tradition, which the owners say keeps them grounded in a slower, more deliberate way of living and working. Orthodox honors the old tradition of brewing, which has drawn communities together for hundreds of years, and it celebrates the people, traditions and craftsmen that make the Ozarks distinctive, on the belief that place matters. The owners want the taproom to be a spot where friends and neighbors gather regularly for moments big and small, and they believe good beer can rebuild ties between people, the land and good craftsmanship.
